Educational Qualification/Training in brief: • MS (Global Supply Chain Management) from Indiana Univ.(USA) • B. Tech.(Mechanical) from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai • Many In-house training programs by United Technology Corporation of USA I have rich and long experience of 3 decades in supply chain in different industries such as HVAC, Retail, Elevators, Chemical and Auto. Have been associated with many developmental projects during this period and have handled wide variety of products and services. I have successfully set up SCM organization (Including setting up sourcing office in India for exports as well as China sourcing office for imports), developed SOPs for various supply chain activities, Set up MIS /controls, SLAs and SOPs for 3 PL logistics and worked on spend analysis, inter-departmental interactions, managing vendor base etc. Presently I am heading ACE SCM Solutions which specializes in working from concept to results in many key areas such as Spend analysis, Inventory /working capital management, Supplier development especially with SMEs, Skill development /training in supply chain etc. My last assignment was as Head - Supply Chain (Products business) with Blue Star Limited where I was responsible for End – to – end management of supply chain covering planning, procurement, and logistics for products business covering 7 factories, sourcing office in China and distribution network across India and exports to UAE. My earlier assignments included many leading manufactures such as Otis Elevators, Cable Corporation Limited and Automobile products etc. and also a short stint with Reliance Retail. I have been a speaker /panel member in many Supply Chain and logistics forums and also write column related to supply chain management.
