Highly accomplished and result oriented senior business finance and allied functions professional with 28 years of work experience in different areas covering business, finance, legal, acquisition and partner management with MNC and Indian companies. Since October 2017 working as Chief Operating Officer in GKB Opticals at Kolkata. As head of this retail business is now completely into the job that I like the most - Retail business. Smaller in size but a business with purpose and in the premium segment of the corrective market. Reports to Chairman and Board of Directors and accountable for the P&L of a business with 76 outlets with PAN India presence. Relocated to India from Singapore in April 2017 after working with Essilor International Group for over a decade. Major part of the assignment with Essilor was Heading finance function and carrying out partner management of Greater India operations. Last in India as Group CFO for Essilor India operations working on various jobs as related to finance, legal, secretarial, acquisition, treasury and administration at very senior level. Played a key role in growing the business from INR 260 crores to 1,650 crores in 10 years’ time. Has also worked in the capacity of CFO of Polycore Group, a 50:50 JV of Essilor International at Singapore handling some specific additional jobs of restructuring the financial investment and to bring operational synergy of the new entity into the group as new business vertical.
