I’m a writer, editor, and translator with a background in journalism, entrepreneurship, and a lifelong engagement with literature and culture. Formerly a sub-editor at United News of India and founder of Chennai’s premier sports retail firm Pro Sport, I now focus on professional editorial services for individuals and organizations who value clarity, nuance, and depth. My work includes rewriting articles, ghostwriting, literary translation (Malayalam ⇄ English), manuscript editing, and cultural consulting for projects with historical or creative elements. I’m especially drawn to stories and voices that carry depth—whether in the form of opinion writing, creative nonfiction, or cross-cultural narratives. I have an abiding interest in literature and I have completed several courses that have helped me to appreciate in depth the nuances of writing. Among others, I have done an online course in December, 2012, on 'fantasy and science fiction' from the University of Michigan and I was given a certificate of completion. I’m fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, with working knowledge of French and Sanskrit. I bring both technical precision and creative insight to the table, and I believe that good writing always provides clarity and impact and serves humanity.
