I am Anirban, an earthquake engineer with a PhD from Kyoto University, Japan (2021). My research focuses on the spatial modeling of earthquake site response. I am developing Uncertainty Projected Mapping (UPM) — a Bayesian-based framework that generates site amplification maps with locally adaptive resolution while quantifying both epistemic and aleatory uncertainties. I aim to continue developing and applying UPM through collaborations with new research groups and datasets.
