About Anisa Diaz
Professionally and personally, this is an extraordinary time in my career. Professionally, I am embarking on a new journey with my skills of building relationships, using strategies that are data-driven to increase student achievement, and team building. Personally- I am a mother of three wonderful children whose talents and dreams I support-As a member of Alats Dance Company in Waukegan, IL,(Alats is the Hebrew word, to jump with exuberance) I am enjoying dance now more than ever. The opportunities to perform and minister at various community events in many states, has utilized my talents and gifts in ways that can only be considered a blessing. I also teach for Alats Dance, which serves youth ages 6 - 18 in the genres of Modern, Hip Hop, African, Latin, and Contemporary, and I teach Hip Hop at a ballet school called, Acts 17:28 Dance studio in Wisconsin- I am a board member of a non-profit anti-human trafficking organization called Fight To End Exploitation (F.E.E.). The organization brings awareness to human trafficking, but also provides services for those who are rescued.
