About Anita Nair

IB PYP inclusion/SEN educator at Dubai International Academy and active volunteer with learners with disabilities. I support PYP classrooms supporting learners with diverse needs, including autism and specific learning disabilities. With 15+ years of prior experience in various diverse roles, I blend operational rigor from my previous experience with a compassionate, student-centered approach to help every child access, participateKey aspects of my role include :(1) serving as a guide and facilitator for students’ academic, social, and emotional growth, designing accessible lessons and environments where every child can participate and thrive.(2) supporting students of determination in the classroom environment and through interventions and group lessons outside the classroom.(3) Integral liaison between parents, teaching staff and external providers to ensure specific needs of each child are addressed effectively. My philosophy is simple: our role revolves around the child as the center of education. That means planning with intention, honoring multiple learning styles, and using collaboration to drive better outcomes. I’m a team player who values open communication, shared problem-solving, and continuous learning to support each student’s success.
