About Anja Cervera

I’m Anja—a physiotherapist, educator, and recent graduate with a Master’s degree in Health Business Management. I’m passionate about how organizations can genuinely support the well-being and growth of their people. Over the past decade, I’ve worked in the Finnish public healthcare sector, primarily in home rehabilitation within decentralized, multidisciplinary teams. Alongside clinical work, I’ve led wellness initiatives, mentored students, and developed onboarding processes designed to make work more human, connected, and sustainable. Beyond healthcare, I’ve also run my own dance business—teaching people of all ages and backgrounds. For me, dance is empowerment through movement and storytelling. It’s where I see confidence bloom, creativity emerge, and communities connect. In my Master’s thesis, I explored how managerial practices influence employee well-being in home rehabilitation settings. This research brought together my practical experience and academic curiosity—and reflects what I care about most: helping people feel supported, capable, and inspired in their everyday work. I believe well-being is foundational—not a bonus—and that good leadership creates space for people to not only perform, but truly flourish.
