About Anja Ginckels

Career Overview I began my professional journey as a teacher and evolved into a project manager for various central-level initiatives within GO! Education, including projects focused on early childhood education and care collaboration and the pedagogical aspects of childcare. Subsequently, I served as the coordinating director of a school community, overseeing compliance with regulations, preparing dossiers for the Board of Directors, coaching school leaders, and managing complaints. As the director of a large primary school, I gained extensive experience in identifying socio-emotional challenges in children, adults, and families, providing immediate support, and facilitating referrals to social welfare services. My expertise also extends to quality assurance and safety, holding a Level 3 Safety Certificate. In addition to my leadership roles, I have completed numerous certifications and training programs, including project management, educational management, safety and prevention, the Primary School Director's Certificate, Pedagogical Advisor's Certificate, and training as a confidential advisor. A notable achievement is the establishment of a comprehensive onboarding policy and the ongoing coaching framework for administrative staff in primary education, which has now become an integral part of the organization's regular operations.
