Background

About Anju Anand

As a Project Assistant at Kudumbashree, the state poverty eradication mission of Kerala, I have been involved in organizing, monitoring, and reporting on various training programs and skill development initiatives for the urban poor for over six years. I have also managed and overseen the budgets and expenditures of these projects, ensuring accountability and transparency. Some of the notable achievements includes facilitating the assessment and certification of over candidates under National Skill Development Corporation, and presenting the training proposals and outcomes to the Kudumbashree Mission and the Government of Kerala. I have a strong academic background in commerce and PG Diploma in Development Praxis from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a M com in Finance from Mahatma Gandhi University. I am currently pursuing a Master of Social Work from Indira Gandhi National Open University, to deepen my knowledge and skills in social work and community development. I am proficient in analytical skills, Microsoft Office, and I can communicate effectively in English, Hindi, and Malayalam. I am passionate about empowering the marginalized and vulnerable sections of the society, and I aspire to contribute to the sustainable development goals through my work.
