About Anju Kothari

Over the past several years I have been traveling and working around the world in different industries and work environments. These experiences have taught me to be highly adaptable, how to work as a team and follow the specific procedures required for various industries. In my role at E&J Gallo Winery I worked on a variety of projects, such as researching and performing experiments to test various cold stabilization agents on grape juice. During these projects I frequently utilized a variety of computer systems, including LIMS. As a Laboratory Technician at Buronga Hill Winrey I worked on a team, performing all the necessary analysis on juice, fermenting and finished wines (i.e. pH, free and total sulfur, ascorbic acid). Part of my responsibilities involved cleaning and calibrating the lab equipment and preparing standardized solutions. In my years of hospitality experience I have gained customer service and team management skills and have become proficient at working in high-stress, fast-paced environments. My time working abroad have been invaluable, and I am looking for a position in which I can apply these skills as well as utilize the knowledge gained at university and in the science industry. If given the opportunity I will prove that I am a hard worker and fast learner, fully committed my to responsibilities and ongoing education in the field of science.
