About Anjuli Ahooja

Anjuli Ahooja is a curriculum and pedagogy leader. She is an international speaker and panelist. Recently, she was invited as an International Delegate, Speaker, and Panelist at the DIDAC/TIESS International Education Conference in India. Anjuli has a PhD in Physics. Anjuli was given the Innovation Grant award from her school for the Design Thinking project that he designed for her AP Physics 2 students four years ago - Anjuli is passionate about education, education pedagogies and technologies, and physics; and if given the opportunity to do it all over again, she wouldn’t change a thing! Anjuli is an innovative curriculum developer and is one of the pioneers for using newest technologies as per students’ needs. Anjuli has presented “What Makes a 21st Century Teacher?” at a TEDx conference. Recently, she was invited by the Education Technology Strategies Summit to give the Keynote and Opening Address. Anjuli is a Microsoft Innovative Expert Educator, has a PhD in semiconductor physics. She is currently the AP Physics teacher and a Mutual Respect Facilitator at Appleby College in Oakville. Anjuli was the President Elect & Vice President for STAO (Science Teachers’ Association of Ontario). Anjuli was a Board Member for the Science on Stage Canada for three years and she organized a festival in 2012 at Appleby. Anjuli was also one of five Canadian delegates selected to participate in the Science on Stage Europe Festival in London, England (2015), Germany/Poland (2013) and Copenhagen (2011). She also worked with 19 European teachers on the iStage project to develop ICT materials for science. While teaching at McMaster University, she was invited to write a physics textbook unit and have also authored grade 9 & 10 homework books.
