About Anke Mess

As the Head of People and Professional Development for McKinsey's Global Energy & Material Practice I lead the team looking after our consultants focusing on serving clients in the Energy, Chemicals and Materials sector. We are developing and executing against the people strategy with our leadership. My experience in global talent management questions, very strong analytical and process management skills as well as high level of energy and creativity allow me to be successful in this role. Prior to this role I have been running a global program to attract and retain internal talent to serve clients in the energy sector by structuring and delivering mentoring, connectivity and learning programs. I hold a degree in economics and social sciences and a certificate as intercultural trainer.
