About Ankit Das

The world is witnessing an exponential growth in the use of engineering and technology in various fields: health care, sanitation, agriculture, construction, industry, and rescue operations to name a few. Yet, the road to further development is long and a lot needs to be done to make life easier and safer for people living in rural as well as urban areas. During the course of my research at the Bio-inspired Robotics Technology and Healthcare (BIRTH) Lab as a part of my MS in Robotics & Autonomous Systems (Mechanical Engineering) at the Arizona State University, I gained clarity about my future goals. With every new concept learnt, my inquisitiveness has intensified. My passion lies in the Mechanical Design of components whether for Robotics or any other manufactured product.
