I am an EV and automotive professional with 14+ years of experience across vehicle testing, homologation, program management, and cross-functional leadership. My career has spanned both electric and ICE platforms, giving me hands-on expertise in ensuring vehicles meet regulatory, performance, and reliability standards. Key achievements include: Spearheaded the ICAT homologation of a light-duty EV in record time, enabling a successful launch milestone. Led vehicle testing & reliability programs that accelerated validation cycles and improved fleet readiness. Managed cross-functional teams and collaborated with government agencies, suppliers, and test authorities to streamline compliance. Having worked at the intersection of engineering and regulation, I’ve seen first-hand the challenges India faces in its clean mobility transition — from gaps in battery recycling policy to the need for standardized charging infrastructure. I am now focused on policy research to bridge ground-level engineering realities with evidence-based policymaking. My goal is to contribute research and strategic insights that accelerate India’s journey toward sustainable transport and EV adoption.
