Spring 2023 graduate with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland. Strong background as a multi-physics computational researcher across multiple scales with a proven publication track record and multiple honors and awards for academic contributions. Expertise in computational modeling from molecular to continuum scale fluid dynamics and soft matter, including finite element methods. Also developed bottom-up computational models for 3D printing applications, specifically for Aerosol Jet Printing technology. Possess deep understanding of stochastic processes in physics and chemistry. While taking a course on stochastic calculus I realized the similarity in the mathematical principles of statistical physics and derivative pricing models, triggering my interest in finance. For the past year, I have been independently exploring US corporate bond markets by trying to understand OTC dealer behavior among counter-party networks. I was also a member of the Smith Investment Fund, a student investment group operated at the University of Maryland, where I contributed to the Quantitative Team.
