About Ankit Kainth

Ankit Kainth is a Psychiatrist from India. His exceptional dedication, perseverance and sincerity towards his work has helped him to become a clinician with great compassion and empathy. His vast clinical knowledge, strong work ethics and perceptive nature help him to deal effectively with diverse array of health challenges. He had also been actively involved in research activities related to mental health and published several articles in various journals. Ankit has obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery from India. He had worked in the department of Dialysis and Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery to gain clinical experience and sharpen his skills in medical and surgical management of the patients. He has come to Canada in 2019 after the obtention of master degree in Psychiatry, and with 4 years of experience in working as Psychiatrist and as a General Practitioner. Currently, he is working as a Case Investigator in Alberta Health Services as a member of COVID-19 response Team. He is also working as a Medical Office Assistant in family physician clinic where his role is thorough medical evaluation of the patients and formulation of management plans in consultations with physicians. He is strongly in favor of spreading health awareness in general population. He is an active member of AIMGA's health and wellness team and is raising awareness by the means of podcast, and webinars. As a person, he is industrious, and humble and always gives delight to the people around him. He is always keen to volunteer in initiatives that support underprivileged populations of society. He cherishes the company of family members and loves to travel. He looks forward to establish himself as a mental health care professional in future.
