Once upon a time, I sat in a school counselor’s office, clueless about my future. “You should try marketing,” they said. So I did what any curious kid would—I Googled it. And just like that, I fell headfirst into the fascinating world of advertising. I decided I wanted to be a copywriter. A storyteller. A marketeer with a keyboard and a caffeine addiction. To kick things off, I joined a B2B company as a content writer. But let’s be honest—I wasn’t just writing blogs. I was scripting product demo videos, crafting emailers, and basically doing everything that involved words (and sometimes more). Still, B2C had my heart. So I made the switch. That’s when Cleartrip entered the chat. At Idex Media, I got to work with some of the smartest minds in the business. I wrote push notifications (yes, the ones you almost ignore), teamed up with performance marketers, CRM wizards, and social media superheroes. I even got my hands dirty with app copy and helped out the B2B side too—because why not? Eventually, I hit pause on the agency life and joined a friend’s startup as a marketing consultant. Startup life taught me speed, hustle, and the power of memes (okay, and strategy too). Today, I’m freelancing—writing for different brands, bringing ideas to life, and having a blast doing it.
