About Ankit Kochar

Born to an entrepreneur family, I learned "hustling" is the way forward. I grew up working at night and attending university during the day, hustling comes naturally to me. I love building things. Came to Singapore by chance while working as a Tech sales exec at a US-based software house, I got an opportunity to establish their Singapore center from scratch by leveraging our presence in India and America. Later took a role of an account manager for a major Swizz bank and expanded the portfolio of work across Singapore and India. My passion for recruitment took me to join the agency side of recruitment, where I learned the importance of speed and accuracy along with the quality of service. I got an opportunity to establish a recruitment practice- where I built a team of recruiters from scratch and led 30+ members teams across various technology functions to serve StartUp, and Technology firms. In my recent role at EBC, I am leading the regional recruitment business and working with some world-class individuals to build exceptional Sourcing Solutions with AI and ML technology. Exciting times ahead. Outside of work, my cheeky toddler and a preschooler keep me engaged.
