As a Senior Market Analyst at Statkraft, I lead modeling efforts to construct and benchmark energy prices in various markets in Indian markets, using advanced tools such as SDDP and PROMOD. I also provide energy market assessment and analysis to support private investments, M&A activities, asset management firms, and bankruptcy/restructuring cases. 1 With a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, I have a strong foundation in the technical and financial aspects of the renewable and environment industry. I have developed skills in operations management, energy storage, financial analysis, and renewable energy policy, thanks to my previous roles at ICF as an Analyst and a Research Assistant. I have also contributed to multiple publications on topics such as MISO's capacity market construct and ERCOT's scarcity premiums. 2 I am passionate about finding innovative solutions to the challenges and opportunities in the energy sector, especially in the context of the changing market dynamics and the transition to a low-carbon future.
