About Ankita Pramanick
PhD in Biomedical Engineering at CÚRAM, the University of Galway, Ireland. My research is based on 4D bioprinting shape-morphing tissue via cell generated forces, and how this cell-mediated morphing improved the structural and functional maturity of iPSC-derived heart tissue. The final phase focusses on in-situ lineage differentiation, mimicking the transition of developing heart. My research is supported by Irish Research Council (IRC)-Government of Ireland postgraduate programme. I am highly motivated to pursue research in the field of bioprinting, induced pluripotent stem cell, maturation and functionality of bioprinted tissue, in future.
