I am a Partner at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP. My practice focuses on building and managing teams to help people and companies procure patent protection early on for their ideas. I specialize in ensuring that the procured patent(s) align with the business interests of the company, whether it be to block competitors in specific areas, or help increase acquisition value. I get to know your technology and business strategy so I can focus on getting valuable patent(s), and you can focus on your business. I will also help put together a customized patent strategy so that after the initial patents are filed, a plan is in place to protect future ideas and continue to build value.I have aided clients in a wide range of technology areas including wireless communications, software products, web technologies, display devices, virtualization, and medical devices. Prior to joining Dinsmore, I also had experience as associate patent counsel at Qualcomm, Inc, responsible for managing the company’s IP strategy and prosecuting patent applications. I am a graduate of Harvard Law School (J.D) and the University of Michigan (B.S.E. Computer Engineering, Minor Economics) summa cum laude. I won a Young Attorneys 2013 Finalist Award from the San Diego Daily Transcript.
