About Anmol Dhot

I am a Sikh woman, who speaks 4 different languages and is proud of her Asian Canadian background. I love interacting with new personalities on a daily basis, and I am constantly doing so in my personal and professional life. The experience I have had working as a retail manager contribute to my extrovert personality. Along with my work experience, my education and volunteering, contributed to my ability to build positive relationships. I have graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minor in Sociology, from the University of Alberta. My education has provided me with knowledge and skills that are necessary to work in a position that involves dealing with a wide range of personalities, different age groups, and deal with multiple types of scenarios. My work and volunteering have helped contribute to my humanitarian skills. Majority of my volunteer experience was surrounding the well being of different age and ethnic groups. As a volunteer, I ensured that I maintained a positive relationship with everyone I interacted with. My volunteer experience helped enhance my sense of belonging, contributed to my diverse personality, and helped me strengthen my communication skills. Working with Groupe Dynamite as a Manager on Duty, allowed me to understand how to be a team leader. On a daily basis, I am challenged by staff and customers to make quick business decisions that are beneficial to all. I do my best to make the work environment comfortable and fair, not only for the employees, but for the customers as well.
