About Ann A. Busker

After ten years at RO in the Dallas Office as HR Coordinator, I had the opportunity to transition to a new role as Project Coordinator in our Austin Office. That was five years ago and it is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I have learned so much from the fabulous project teams sharing their knowledge and have had new opportunities to learn. Some of the things I have helped the teams with include: Billing & Pay Apps, Lien Waivers, CCIP Enrollment, LEED Documentation & Submittals, Trade Partner Compliance with insurance and safety documentation, Credit Card Expense Reports, Meeting Minutes, Event Coordination (Safety Stand Down, Project Team Celebrations, Topping Out Lunches), Submittals, RFI’s, Team Building for the Project Team and with Owners/Architects/Trade Partners. I have discovered that I love LEED. I have now been on three projects attempting LEED Certification. Medical Park Tower Rehabilitation earned Gold Certification while Rosedale School and Mueller TC1B are still pending review. I love reading the submittals, picturing the completed project in my mind, working with trade partners to learn how they will build/install products and watching points accumulate as we gather the needed documentation. I am currently studying for the LEED AP BD+C exam to be taken in June. This has become a passion as I am learning how these practices can be applied in so many areas of our life. MPT LEED Page: In 2020, one of our client Directors needed help researching business development leads in the Education and Public work sectors. I had the time to help and searched researching. This research has helped her forge relationships with new clients on projects we are now building and will be building in the future. In my research for her, I was finding leads for work in other sectors and for our other offices. Now, my research provides leads for all five RO offices in a variety of sectors. I love my career journey, where it has led and look forward to what the future holds.
