About Ann Jaikaran

After working for 10 years plus in the Health,Beverage and Maufacturing Laboratory and Quality Control Environment, my passion for sales was sparked when I was placed in charge of reviewing the" End of life "status for Laboratory testing equipment on behalf of my lab with a Supplier. I realized then, the need to bridge the gap between end user and supplier. There was a need for cost effective, technologically advanced equipment and supplies, ideally suitable to the growing requirements of laboratories in the Caribbean. Within that year, I evolved into the sales arena. I came in with the knowledge of an end user, and applications training experience. It enabled me to suggest and provide relevant solutions thus improving the efficiency for my customers. As time progressed, I grew my customer base value from a 2 million TTDS account to a whopping 10 million TTDS account within 4 years. One of the highlights for me of the Medical and Laboratory Sales environment, is the continuous exposure to new and developing solutions. It also allows me to continue to inadvertently be part of the diagnosis and treating process of patients. I certainly look forward to expanding my sales portfolio, learning about additional products, engaging with new customers and international brands.
