About Ann Martin

Number one achievement in life, being a Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stag 4 Cancer Survivor. I enjoy offering hope to those diagnosed with the horrible disease, despite their odds. I was given a 40% chance to beat it and I am still here today. Conquering Marriage 31 years, Kerry and I are blessed with two children after being told it would not happen and I live a full life with a dream of seeing a cure. After attending college at Murray State University I worked with several law firms as a Legal Assistant. I transferred to Elizabethtown, Kentucky and became an Assistant Manager for ITT Financial Services and worked 10 years until the company sold. I moved back to Western Kentucky after being diagnosed with Cancer, fought hard through a year of chemo and then heard the wonderful word, remission. In 1993 I obtained a Real Estate License and started working for a Non-Profit 501C3 Company, Agape Community Services, Inc. a rehabilitation program for developmentally disabled individuals. I applied for a tax credit program in 3 counties in Kentucky to build homes for these individuals and was awarded the tax credits for Graves, Fulton and Hardin Counties under Agape Properties. After forming the LLC, I found land in all three counties and was construction manager in building 16 homes scattered throughout Kentucky for individuals with disabilities. These homes allowed them to live outside of institutions and into 24hr care residential homes. In in addition to the tax credit programs I oversaw the construction of a 59 room hotel in Grand Rivers, Kentucky. I currently manage the Hotel, Patti’s Inn and Suites, now owned by Patti's Enterprises and along with being the Co-CEO/Director of Marketing/Social Media and Public Relations of Patti's 1880's Settlement and T. Lawson’s Grill. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and seeing my beautiful children grow-up and live their best lives. They are truly what matters most in my life
