I have spent just about my entire career, over 30 years, working with English language learners as both a teacher (K-12 and adult) and an administrator in New Jersey, Ohio, and Illinois. I have also designed and implemented ELL programs for several school districts, served as a consultant for school districts regarding ELL program development, served as a mentor to new ELL Program Directors, and presented on topics related to ESL and Bilingual Education at the local, county, and state levels. I also conducted in-depth evaluations of school district’s ELL Programs and created detailed recommendations for improvement and action plans for school boards.
