About Ann Petersen

Professionally, I have clinical skills in neurological rehabilitation and manual therapy with orthopedic experience. I thrive in diverse and challenging roles that utilize my leadership skills in management, program development, innovation strategies, process improvement and intelligent risk. I work closely with executive leaders and strategic planners to research unmet patient care opportunities and, using data and evidence-based practice, work to build systems of care that improve quality and decrease cost.From my clinical experience, I understand State and Federal regulations for care delivery and reimbursement while maintaining a relentless emphasis on patient satisfaction and engagement.I enjoy sharing knowledge and experience through didactic work including classroom instruction, book clubs, and panel discussion. I facilitate work teams of all sizes. The process improvement tools and methodologies with which I have experience are: Six Sigma, Work Out, Adaptive Design, Change Acceleration Processes, and Value Stream Mapping. I co-authored an application for the National Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award, received bronze recognition, and have been a Baldrige Examiner.
