About Ann Roth

For the last thirty two years I have devoted my career to helping individuals with traumatic and chronic upper extremity orthopedic injuries. As an Occupational Therapist and a Certified Hand Therapist I have had the unique opportunity to blend the art and science of my chosen profession to assist people in returning to their daily avocational and vocational tasks. There have been many opportunities and colleagues that have shaped both the person and the clinician that I am today. My passion for helping others has been fueled by a constant desire for continuing education in the latest research or clinical techniques. In addition to seeking education, I have also been fortunate to have been provided with the opportunity to share my knowledge. I have been a speaker for various upper extremity conferences as well as community information sessions in conjunction with area physicians. My career took an unexpected turn several years ago when I was asked to be a Fieldwork Educator for level one and level two Quinnipiac University Occupational Therapy students. The experience has fostered my desire to teach the new generation of therapists. When not involved in clinical practice, I enjoy staying active in outdoor activities such as hiking, snowshoeing, camping, and riding the Vast trail system of Vermont on all terrain vehicles.
