About Ann Watson

I am a Brisbane based restructuring and insolvency lawyer. I have experience in banking and debt recovery, enforcement of mortgage and other securities, insolvency and personal bankruptcy and secured and unsecured asset recovery and loss minimisation. In my role at Hall & Wilcox, I advise a number of Australia’s largest retail and commercial banking and financial institutions, administrators, liquidators, receivers and corporate directors in insolvency and reconstruction matters. Acting in both an advisory and litigious capacity, I act on the enforcement and collection of secured and unsecured debts, issue statutory notices, effect possession and sales of secured assets, investigate fraud allegations and advise and act on bankruptcies, administrations, receiverships and liquidations. I am a member of the Australian Restructuring and Turnaround Association (ARITA), the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), the Law Council of Australia, Insol International and the Women in Insolvency and Restructuring Queensland, and currently sit on the Queensland State TMA committee as well as the QLD insolvency and restructuring committee of the Law Council of Australia.
