About Anna Andrade

As a higher education professional with a strong background related to academic support programs, I have thorough knowledge of assisting students, faculty, staff and administrators.At San Diego State University, I am the writing tutor for the NIH sponsored MARC and IMSD programs.As a graduate student, I volunteered for activities such as team collaboration on academic conference planning and mentoring high school students. I also gained extensive experience assisting professors with publications. As a research assistant for a professor, I copy-edited and formatted her academic reference encyclopedia for Garland Publishers, and learned all aspects of creating a reference publication. I was also a research assistant for another professor for her recently published text on naturoprathy. Recently, I was of assistance to Dr. Peter Kovacic by editing several peer reviewed journal articles for forthcoming publications on medicinal and organic chemistry.I have a BA and an MA in an interdisciplinary liberal arts discipline, a minor in geography, and am pursuing independent research for a second MA in history.
