This academic ‘competition’ is not something confined to Australia or any country in particular – it’s a global phenomenon. As the Regional Director for Turnitin in Asia-Pacific, I work with major education institutions across the entire region. Managing a team from the regional HQ in Melbourne, I work closely with Senior Management from Tertiary Education Institutions – including Deputy VCs and CIOs to name a few. I work deeply within these institutions – engaging Librarians, Ed Tech Teams, Support Teams and Middle Management. We work towards common goals – achieving the highest level of Academic Compliance, Academic Excellence, and streamlining Student Grading tasks to minimise admin time and provide insights. Whether it’s resolving challenges or providing a roadmap for building and maintaining academic integrity for my clients, my passion is their success and that of their students.
