About Anna Cafferty

With over four years of experience as an educator and leader, I am passionate about creating engaging and inclusive learning environments for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching: Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from Boise State University, which equip me with the knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality instruction in various subjects, especially science. As a Private Tutor, I provided individualized and personalized tutoring services to students in grades K-12, covering topics such as math, science, English, and test preparation. I also collaborate with parents and teachers to monitor student progress and address learning gaps. Previously, as a Center Director at Mathnasium, I managed the daily operations, staff, and sales of a math learning center, while also building rapport with families and offering academic support to students. In addition, I have experience as a Biology Teacher and a Substitute Teacher in the Boise School District, where I received recognition and awards for my teaching excellence and involvement in extracurricular activities. I am proficient in Google Forms, Training, and Science, and I hold an Idaho Education Credential issued by the Idaho State Board of Education. I am currently employed at Veolia Water as a Water Quality Specialist. This role enables me to stay scientifically engaged and continue my learning journey. Additionally, it allows me to contribute to public service, prioritizing public health and safety. My work involves ensuring the highest standards of water quality, conducting rigorous testing, and implementing solutions to protect our communities. I am passionate about using my scientific expertise to make a positive impact on public health and the environment.
