About Anna Callahan

I’ve been a software engineer on Agile Scrum teams, and over the years I’ve brought Scrum principles into all kinds of environments — from startups to nonprofits to grassroots campaigns. In a recent role, I was tasked with turning around a software team that was struggling to deliver clean, timely releases. After listening to the engineers, product owner, and leadership, I introduced Scrum — starting with daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retros — while helping the team surface real impediments and build shared transparency. I coached both the team and leadership through a gradual transition, protecting the sprint from distractions and guiding them toward a full and sustainable Scrum practice. Within just a few months, the team was delivering stable, on-time releases.I combine my engineering background, my love of team dynamics, and my growing expertise in AI-assisted tools to help dev teams do their best work.I’ve done over a dozen timed film projects, run three political campaigns, been on hackathon teams, and launched a startup. There’s nothing I love more than helping a team accomplish a ton — and come back excited to do it again. Can’t wait to talk to you about it!
