About Anna Chan

I worked at HEI Schools Waurn Ponds as an Centre Director after being a year of an Assistant Centre Director. I currently leave my role for a break and is ready for a new challenge. I enjoyed working with my team, families and children. The relationships that we have built were incredible. The feedback from the families were always rewarding. I have been working in an educational environment since 2011. I gained ten years working experience in Hong Kong as a secondary school teacher in Chinese and other subjects. After a decade of working experience in Hong Kong. I followed my wish and came to Australia with my family to study the Master of Social Work in 2018. I believed the knowledges and experiences that I have accumulated would lead me to my capacity, which would enable me to learn more. After many years looking for my inner self, I confirmed that I would love to work with people as my personal goal. I wish I can use all the knowledge and skills I have to help people and grow together. My achievements: 2022 Certificate of Educator Engagement Award, Finnish Early Childhood Education (Australia) Pty Ltd 2019 Presentations on behalf of graduate students at the Social Work Event 2018 Sharing in the ANZSWWER (Australian & New Zealand Social Work & Welfare Education & Research) Conference with my supervisor.
