About Anna Cook
With an extensive background in the education sector (teacher, school governor, exam board officer, regulator: Ofqual), my research focuses on improving educational provision for neurodivergent children and young people. Current research combines educational and psychological perspectives to explore systemic barriers to inclusion, teachers’ understanding of neurodiversity and their preparedness for inclusive practice and the impact of specialist resource provision. I regularly present findings at international conferences and I’m committed to bridging research and practice through finding pathways to impact: co-designed research, accessible reports, talks in schools and advice to MPs, government committees and policy task groups.
