About Anna Degteva

Helsinki-based conversation designer and UX researcher. My superpower is asking the right questions to the people and to the data. Whoever is more likely to answer. What I can do is making sure that everything works for the user and making it work better - improving the conversion of a sales chatbot, enhancing customer satisfaction or tuning the customer journey map in such a way that it both improves the users perception of the service and reduces running costs for the company. As I have worked a lot in startup-minded environments where a small team has to make it all work I had the opportunity to contribute with the various stages of digital products’ lifecycle and in different roles. My second strong skill is improving and enhancing development methodology and workflow so that next time everything works better from the start. Depending on the business needs, my tools include both qualitative and quantitative methods, from conducting discovery stage interviews to AB testing, to analyzing the application logs statistics. My special field of expertise is conversational design and customer relations automation, but I am quick at mastering new tools and environments, and I am never afraid to take on something new. Drawing on my 15 year's of experience as a university instructor I offer my help of preparing for job interviews in English if it isn't your native language (this is a free one-hour session) and teach public speaking classes in Uusimaa.
