I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry from Appalachian State University. I grew up in North Carolina. I have a concentration in biochemistry, and I participate in undergraduate research with Dr. Megen Culpepper. My research primarily focuses on protein structures of the sulfur-cycling protein dimethyl sulfide monooxygenase. This has given me experience in protein purification, as well as analytical methods of chemistry.
