About Anna Ghosh

Anna Ghosh is a senior communications strategist, facilitator, writer, editor, and coach for social change organizations and leaders. She harnesses participatory facilitation, deep listening, and the power of storytelling to build bridges and help leaders, organizations, coalitions and communities live up to their ideals, be their best selves, and turn their vision for a better world into reality. Anna has three decades of experience in cross-channel, integrated communications and strategy and is passionate about demystifying strategic communications and helping people with important things to say, say it better and make a difference. Before becoming a consultant, Anna was a communications director for national nonprofits focused on local economic development, sustainable and equitable food policy, and direct action organizing. Before that, she worked with filmmakers, restaurateurs, entrepreneurs, and corporations as an agency consultant and in-house executive. Throughout her work and personal life, Anna is committed to cultivating empathy, understanding, critical thinking, and action toward a more equitable and compassionate society, which includes reclaiming her humanity and encouraging other white people to reclaim theirs by actively working to confront and heal racist conditioning. She lives in San Francisco with her family and spends as much time as possible biking, beaching, and hiking with Athena, the sweetest little rescue dog on the planet.
