About Anna Hadfield

When I was in school, all I wanted to be was a weatherwoman. The honours math paper was the only thing that stood in my way and after a trying relationship (and some convincing advice from my teachers) I stood down and went the pass route. I found a new passion in hospitality while still in school and wanted to continue to explore that career when I left. Following my mother, and Malcom Forbes' advice -'Education's purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one'- I completed a Bachelors Degree in UCD, studying Philosophy and English (with a little French). Over ten years I worked my way up through Roly's Bistro, Dunne and Crescenzi, The Merrion Hotel and Chapter One. Longing for a 9-5, I took a job in Arthur Cox before starting in Gresham House (formerly Appian Asset Management). I kept my studies going throughout, gaining my QFA qualifications as well as a Diploma in HR Management. I returned to hospitality in 2019 as the Group Executive Coordinator for the Cliff Hotel Group before landing on my feet in All human as an Operations Executive and now Senior Digital Marketing and PR Executive. In addition to my work with the wonderful Marketing Team, I look after CSR at All human. I volunteer when I can and have worked with brilliant organisations such as The Special Olympics, Pieta, IMNDA and ARC in the past. I also spent some time volunteering at the Covid vaccination centre at the Aviva as well as volunteering weekly in Ailesbury Nursing Home, Sandymount for a number of years. Following my father, I have a keen interest in sustainability and am currently studying for a Professional Diploma in Innovation for Sustainability through UCD. My diverse history of employment and education is represented in the work I do, bringing quality, empathy, understanding, and optimism to the forefront. So while I am not telling the weather every evening on the 6.1, I do see the silver lining in that particular cloud.
