About Anna Hedenborg

Anna will be a leader one day,” my parents used to say when I was a kid. Maybe it was a self-fulfilling prophecy — or just what happens when you’re the oldest child, naturally taking charge and endlessly curious. Either way, I’ve always been interested in understanding people, bringing them together, and figuring out how to get things done. I started out studying hospitality management because I liked the idea of working in an international environment (and maybe travelling for a living!). Along the way, I discovered marketing — and that changed the course of my career. More than ten years later, I’m still fascinated by how the right insights, words, and ideas can help businesses communicate clearly. For the past decade, I’ve worked in B2B marketing in the IT services and consulting industry, where technical solutions can be complex but need to make sense to real people. I’ve worked on brand strategy, digital marketing, sales enablement, content creation, campaign planning, and events, collaborating closely with internal business, sales, subject matter experts and external partners. I’m a generalist in the sense that I move comfortably between planning, execution, and problem-solving. Whether it’s shaping a brand story, coordinating a go-to-market plan, or simplifying technical messaging, I focus on clarity and making sure things actually work — a pragmatist by trade. Turns out that leadership, for me, isn’t about a title. It’s about noticing what needs to happen, coordinating people, and helping the work move forward. I usually take the lead on projects and partnerships, not through authority, but by keeping ideas and people connected. Right now, I’m most interested in the overlap between customer understanding and brand building. Even with all the automation and AI tools available, clear communication and human insight remain what really matter in marketing.
