About Anna Hoerster

I am a nursing student at The University of Arizona, expected to graduate in Fall 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minor in Psychology, currently working as a pediatric emergency room patient care technician. From January 2023 until February 2024, I worked as a nurse intern at Banner Health, one of the largest nonprofit health care systems in the country, providing patient comfort care, assisting in care plans, and collaborating with a medical team. I have acquired and demonstrated core competencies in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), and pediatric advanced life support (PALS), as well as nursing skills such as patient assessment, diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation. Through various clinical and educational experiences, I have developed and enhanced my skills in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and mentoring, as well as my values of excellence and integrity. I am passionate about learning, growing, and making a positive impact in the health care field, and I am eager to join a team that shares these goals and values in the future.
