About Anna Huffman
University of Missouri-Columbia & NYU graduate seeking a Master’s in Library and Information Science. I am currently a Youth Services and Outreach Associate and Columbia Public Library, where I get to do everything from event planning to driving the Bookmobile to helping you print out pages of ‘70s newspapers from the microfiche. I have always wanted to work at the intersection of people and words. I sharpened content and copy-editing, brief-pitching, and social media skills as an intern at Persea Books and The Missouri Review; helped readers and writers grow as a substitute teacher and student teacher; and proposed and created two literary journals with the goal of raising queer voices in my community as a student coordinator at the LGBTQ Resource Center at Mizzou. And I’ve been in libraries my whole life.
