About Anna Hunt

I was once described as an expert at the untried and this description is my favourite to date. It has lead to interesting work, great people and has been a lot of fun to pursue. It requires three key ingredients enthusiasm, curiosity and perseverance. I've worked in advertising and big tech (direct with engineering teams, creators and marketers). Before that I worked as a waitress and bar tender during which time I had the dubious honour of singing Happy Birthday to several famous singers despite my inability to carry a tune. The common thread throughout is enjoying being part of a team, problem solving at SPEED and maintaining a good sense of perspective so even when the pressure is on, it still feels fun. I have experience across financial services, telecommunications, fashion, tourism, retail, media and travel. I have worked as a team lead, a department lead and as an individual contributor which requires a new whole new skill set "managing through influence". I have led accounts for many of AUNZ's biggest advertisers from CommBank to David Jones to Tourism NZ as well as run successful sprints across APAC for Googles largest spending advertisers. Campaigns I have worked on have been awarded at all the major award shows (from Webbys to Effies to Cannes Lions) both for effectiveness and creativity. I am excited about all the possibilities emerging tech present when paired with undeniable human truths and great creative taste.
