About Anna Ialacci

After teaching for almost twenty years, Anna successfully transitioned to a career in office management, finance, and human resource management, first working as a bookkeeper and executive assistant to an established CPA for over four years. In the next position, she was nicknamed "the oracle" by her colleagues, assisting a busy executive, managing the finance department, and handling human resource responsibilities. At PenServ Plan Services, she has quickly moved up from an HR and payroll assistant position to managing the HR department. Previously, Anna taught band, choir, general music, drama, computers, journalism, study skills, and writing lab to over students. During that time, she also coached volleyball, sponsored National Junior Honor Society, chaired the School and District School Improvement Committees, served on the District Strategic Planning Committee, served as Interim Assistant Principal (twice), and mentored students and young teachers. She worked at Jefferson Middle School in St. Clair Shores for eleven years, and also served as the Public Relations & Membership Chair for the Lakeview Education Association. Anna, and her twenty-one year-old son (who happens to have autism) live in Columbia, South Carolina. Anna is also a published author, writing traditional mysteries under the name A. M. Ialacci.
