About Anna James

Hello All, Receiving my Bachelor's in Education and Gender Studies, I thought my career path was going towards teaching middle school and high school students. However, with many twists of fate, I found myself in manufacturing and never looked back. Not only do I get to be hands-on in this industry, I could apply my teaching skills in my leadership roles to help others learn, grow, and reach their full potential. I initially started out in the window and vinyl industry where I stayed for five years. Those years helped me build my leadership skills and helped me realized what path I wanted to take. Currently I am in the metals industry and love learning everyday while still challenging myself and my skills. I am always open to change and take every opportunity I can to make myself a better leader not only for myself but especially for my people and crew. Being in this industry has also opened up more passions for me such as safety and continuous improvement. Finally, I welcome constructive criticism and use it as a tool to improve. We never stop learning and by being honest with ourselves and others, we encourage growth and the ability to move past our own barriers.
