About Anna-Jane Peterson

I treat the whole person, combining evidence-based physiotherapy with mindful movement-based therapies to create lasting change. I treat more than just the symptoms, investigating and treating the cause of your pain, to keep your pain away. So much pain is caused by tension elsewhere in the body affecting the biomechanics of how you move. It can also be linked to stress and long hours of sitting. The integrated method I use is especially effective for tension-related pain. Treating symptoms is one thing, but identifying the root cause and giving you simple, sustainable solutions to stay pain-free is what I love to do. As a titled APA Sports Physio, and an Integrated Systems Physio, I assess the whole body to determine the true source of your pain. I love helping older athletes, or if you have stored up multiple injuries over the years, or if you just haven't found relief with other methods. This is a unique approach. Through a mix of hands-on treatment, teaching body awareness, and education about posture and movement, i.e. mindful movement training, you’ll experience a new sense of ease and control in your body. Let me help you move better, feel better, and stay better! Located in Milsons Point—just a short walk from Milsons Point and North Sydney train stations, ferry, and bus stops.#Physiotherapy #YogaTherapy #MindfulMovement #LastingRelief
