About Anna Jansson

I work as Head of donations, partnerships and PR at Nationalmuseum in Stockholm Sweden. My education is in Art History. I used to teach PR and strategic communication specifically for museums at Stockholm University and for a short period of time, I was the art history lecturer at Florence Academy of Art in Gothenburg. I started, as many art historians do, as a guide at Gripsholm Castle and later on, I also did guided tours at the Royal Palace. My own research interests are sacred and Catholic 17th century art and museological aspects of religious objects in museums. The MA thesis I wrote at Stockholm University is focused on the ceiling paintings of the Jesuit churches Sant’Ignazio and Il Gesù. Pro bono, I am part of the reference group for Katolskt forum, which provides a rich program in the Sta Eugenia Church. Also, I am a member of the Utskottet för Konst och Arkitektur in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Stockholm - a priviliege and an honour.
