About Anna Jaruga
I'm a senior research scientist at CliMA/Caltech. My research is focused on representation of aerosol, clouds and precipitation in numerical models of different scales. I enjoy learning new technologies and working with others. I'm enthusiastic about open source software and numerical modelling. During my PhD studies I co-developed and tested two open source software libraries designed to represent clouds in numerical models. As a postdoctoral scholar and research scientist I worked on parameterizations of cloud microphysics as well as turbulence and convection in climate models. I'm also interested in science communication.
