About Anna Jorge

Welcome! I am Anna Jorge, At The College of New Jersey, I am a senior studying Mathematics Secondary Education. My degree consists of various courses in secondary mathematics topics like calculus, statistics, and number theory, as well as education courses such as working with adolescent development and urban communities. I plan to have a varied and interdisciplinary career that will allow me to work in several fields within aviation, mathematics, and education. Each one interests me in different ways. My ultimate ambition is to become a pilot, a dream influenced by my love for travel. Within the business field, I'm especially interested in finance and real estate. It applies to various settings, from banks and brokerages to major corporations and government agencies. Growing up in an urban, diverse community named Jersey City, I developed a deep passion for fair access to education. In mathematics, I view it as a level of organization that comes alive when working on algebra. I hope to teach math to youth and inspire them in the ways I see it. In my free time, I like to practice bass guitar, watch TV shows, travel, and explore.
