About Anna Kerr

I am a Liquid Technologist with Diageo in the Beer Category. I have recently completed a special award certificate in Circular Economy, as well as a general certificate in Brewing from the esteemed Institute of Brewing and Distillation. Qualifications which show my depth of interest in these two fields - high quality beer and sustainability. What I'm interested in is how can they be combined, how can they compliment and accentuate each other, especially in the Irish market. My strengths include my initiative, determination and creativity. I have experience in a Quality Technologist role as well as administration and sales. I am particularly interested in liquid technology. In my final year of college I completed a lab/research-based thesis project investigating and comparing the phytochemical properties of fruit juices. The aim of the project was to look at the polyphenolic content of the juice of an underutilised, native Kenyan fruit called Dovyalis Caffra and compare it to that of mango juice.
